Nanny Search and Advisory

Urban Nurture’s nanny search & advisory is a consulting service created to help NYC parents make sense of the complexities of finding and keeping a truly qualified and loving nanny in New York City. The service is ideal for first time parents, newcomers to the City, as well as parents who have been frustrated in their efforts to secure the right nanny for their family. We work with families with complex childcare requirements, as well as those with more regular needs.

The service begins with an individualized consultation for the client, during which the needs and expectations of the family are evaluated, and initial advice is shared. Urban Nurture then sources and interviews nanny candidates, checks references and puts forward suitable candidates to the client. Once the family has settled on a nanny, Urban Nurture provides an individualized employment contract and undertakes comprehensive background checks on the nanny. Throughout the entire process, Urban Nurture is available to advise the client on a host of ancillary issues, such as employer obligations, tax and insurance requirements, rates of pay, and so forth.

Our nanny search & advisory service is a fully personalized service offered at a flat rate of $5,000, which we bill in installments.
