Nanny Agency

Urban Nurture began its agency service for families who need help with sourcing nannies, but want to undertake the steps of the hiring process on their own. Through our nanny search & advisory service, we source many remarkable nannies, yet naturally each consulting client only ends up hiring one nanny. This creates a pool of wonderful nannies that have passed our rigorous interview and selection process and are immediately available for work. These are our “nannies on file”, who we make available to our agency clients.

Our nanny agency service is designed to be streamlined and straightforward. Once a client registers with us, we conduct a phone consultation to find out more about their childcare needs. We then forward information on all nannies who we believe are best matches. The client then decides who they want to interview. We offer help with coordinating nanny interviews and trials.

We charge a non-refundable registration fee of $100 and once a match has been made we charge an introduction fee equivalent to 6 weeks of the nanny’s gross salary, or 30% of the nanny’s total pay in the case of temporary engagements.
